Studied a little hand-to-hand combat to learn evasive measures in an encounter (but he totally prefers to use his handgun since it requires less effort)

He was born and raised in South Korea; living with his Mother and little sister. He never really knew his father since he left when Haseo was only 5. As a little boy, he did his best to care for his mother and newborn little sister. He often ran himself ragged, trying to maintain their simple home. His mother worked many odd jobs, aside from being a chef at their family resturaunt.
Haseo was often ill as a child and had a severe case of anemia, causing an early brush with death. He was in a coma for nearly a year until he'd woken up. Since his recovery, he's taken care of his health and got an interest in healthcare and good body maintenance. Along with his new health-concious nature, he found an interest in the medical field after having some discussions with a wounded medic that was in a bed beside him. The two bonded as Haseo recovered and it helped him to really make up his mind of what he'd do in his life.
Both in his free time and during school hours, he researched all aspects of the medical field; including medical sythesis, herbal remedies, pathogens and infectious diseases, poisons, and general anatomy. He now has a mini-library of his own; consisting of any medical refereces he could get his hands on. As well as near-constant research online with private courses and continued talks with his Medic friend from the hospital.

Additional Information
He has his division symbol tattoo'd on his upper left arm.
He likes to travel and will volunteer to go to combat sites just to see new places (yes.. he takes a camera to.. document things)
